  • Internet telephones, such as Skype or Vonage
  • Web conferencing applications, such as LiveMeeting, Sametime, and WebEx.
  • Instant messaging with audio chat
  • Audio playback with media players, such as QuickTime, RealPlayer, Windows Media Player
