The G35 takes a SIM card from any GSM network and can be connected to any office or boat's PABX. Although it is sending calls over the mobile network, the G35 still ensures a dial tone and call quality is the same as a normal fixed line telephone.

Primary applications for the G35 Fixed Wireless Terminal are Least Cost Routing and Remote Payphones. Connecting the G35 to a pay phone means billing will be calculated via pulse metering.

When a G35 is connected to an office PABX, Least Cost Routing and management software will recognise a number that is dialled, by factors such as prefix or time of day, and route the phone call according to the SIM card which best suits the call.

The unit operates by mains power; connects to a landline telephone or PC; and houses a 3G SIM card from any 3G network. If access to a 3G network is not possible, the W25 can also operate using GSM. The SIM card ensures all calls are sent over the mobile network so users that are making a high number of landline to mobile calls are being charged at mobile to mobile rates.
